About the Role:
The HMO role involves working alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in the Emergency Department (ED), Critical Care Unit (CCU), and general wards. You'll be responsible for providing onsite medical care at Calvary St John's and Lenah Valley private hospitals, requiring exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) and onsite clinical staff. Your role will encompass delivering top-notch patient care and ensuring seamless coordination within the healthcare team.
What We're Looking For:
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- AHPRA registration (full)
- Minimum PGY3/4 experience with current ALS certification or evidence of airway management and ability to lead Medical emergencies or Code Blue situations
- Strong independent judgment and adaptability in service delivery
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Exceptional time management skills
