Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification in MRI from either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Register of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
Responsibilities:
- Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends
- Perform routine MRI exams and procedures following department protocols
- Administer contrast and screen patients for MRI safety
- Utilize electronic medical records for imaging processing
- Perform venipuncture and contrast injections as required
- Assist in training MRI students and enforce safety practices
- Provide technical support to researchers conducting MRI studies
- Address patient and staff service issues promptly
- Adhere to regulatory standards and report equipment failures
- Participate in special projects as assigned
