Qualifications:

• Applicants must reside in the US and have unrestricted eligibility to work for any employer without sponsorship.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Plasma Engineering, or Material Science coupled with 5+ years of industrial experience.
• PhD with 3+ years of industrial experience post-graduation.
• Proficiency in prototyping and production facility operations within specialized areas such as:
• Plasma Sources, Ion Beams, RF Accelerators
• High-Voltage Electronics, Switched-Mode Power Supply Design
• DC/DC & AC/DC at kV levels, IGBT techniques, PWM control/power modeling
• LDMOS, High-voltage GaN RF, LCR design, LT SPICE
• Radiofrequency Particle Accelerator or Quadrupole (RFQ) experience
• High-power Tube Amplifiers, Pulsed RF/Microwave Circuits
• UL, CAS, SEMI, IEC, or CE design/test standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead programs and product development initiatives as a researcher and/or principal investigator for SBIR/STTR projects.
• Direct and manage applied engineering teams from early R&D stages through prototyping.
• Develop strategies for laboratory, prototype design, and production research.
• Coordinate technical reporting and resource allocation among customers, suppliers, and development partners.
• Collaborate with customers/users to refine requirements and enhance desired outcomes.
